Aequa is a paid subscription service. It connects the health data you choose to share — wearables, lab results, and health records — reads it continuously, and turns it into plain-language Insights for you and a one-page handoff for your doctor. These terms apply to your Aequa account and to the aequahealth.dev site.
Aequa is not a medical device. It summarizes and organizes your own data to discuss with a clinician — it does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe, and it is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Nothing in Aequa should be used to make a medical decision without consulting a qualified healthcare provider. Paying for a membership does not change this.
Aequa is one plan with two billing intervals: $29 per month, or $290 per year (which works out to about $24 per month). You choose the interval at checkout, and the price of your interval is shown to you in full, including the amount charged today and the date of your first charge, before you enter any payment details.
Your first 7 days are free. We collect a payment method when you join, but we do not charge it during those 7 days. On the seventh day the card on file is charged $29 for the next month or $290 for the next year, depending on the interval you chose, and your membership continues from there. We email you before that first charge. If you cancel at any point before the trial ends, you are not charged anything at all.
Your membership renews automatically. At the end of each billing period we charge the same amount for the next period, using the payment method on file, and it continues that way until you cancel. Monthly memberships renew every month; annual memberships renew every twelve months. If you are on an annual membership, we email you a reminder before each renewal charge, so a yearly renewal never arrives as a surprise.
You agree to these terms and to the automatic renewal above as a separate, affirmative step at checkout — a checkbox you tick yourself, never one we pre-tick. We keep a record of when you accepted and which version of these terms you accepted.
You can cancel online, at any time, in a few clicks. Sign in, open Settings → Manage billing, and cancel there. No phone call, no email to us, no retention conversation. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for: you keep full access until then, and you are not charged again.
If Aequa isn't right for you, email hello@aequahealth.dev within 30 days of your first charge and we will refund it in full. You don't have to give a reason. This is in addition to your cancellation rights above, and it applies to your first charge on either billing interval.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on, or seen by, Aequa's servers — we keep only your subscription status, billing interval, and renewal date. Stripe emails your receipts. Applicable sales tax is calculated at checkout and shown before you pay.
If we change the price of a membership, the new price does not apply to you until your next renewal, and we will email you at least 30 days before that renewal so you can cancel first if you'd rather not continue at the new price.
Your account is yours alone — keep your sign-in credentials to yourself, and tell us if you believe someone else has access. You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which erases your health data from our systems and revokes the connections you granted. Records we are required to keep for financial and tax purposes (your payment history, held by Stripe) survive account deletion; your health data does not.
Aequa is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, that every device or health system you use will remain connectable, or that any particular insight will be surfaced. Illustrative content shown on this site is synthetic sample data.
We may update these terms as the product develops. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date, and where a change affects what you pay or how you cancel, we will email you before it takes effect.
